Vans Warped Tour, Paramore and Fall Out Boy Come to Saint Louis

FOBlive2013 (1)Summer is coming which gives high school students enough time to go out to music festivals and concerts that are coming to St. Louis. Some of these concerts and festivals include Vans Warped Tour and Fall out Boy with Paramore.

“I just love [Fall out Boy]. I have looked up to them for years, and I am actually finally getting to see them in person. It will be a great experience,” said junior Maura McBride.

Fall Out Boy, an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago in 2001, will be at Verizon Amphitheater on July 6 with Paramore. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley.

“I like their stage presence, and I have been a fan for a while. I am just really happy that Fall out Boy is touring again,” said junior Valerie Zhuravel.

Vans Warped Tour is also being held at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater July 2. The tour has been going on for 21 years. The tour features at least 70 bands that people can see.

“I am seeing Mayday Parade, Neck Deep, Yellowcard and State Champs, The Story So Far, and I am very excited,” said sophomore Matthew Balentine who is going to Vans Warped Tour.

This summer is going to be a great time to see bands that have come to St. Louis. These music festivals and concerts are going to be a great way to get out of the house and have fun.
