Skyzone Introduces New Foam Pit

This week, Skyzone St. Louis will be opening their newest attraction- a foam pit. Filled with over 70,000 blocks of foam, and costing aroung $30,000 to build, this foam pit looks to become a place for kids or adults of any age to be able to jump without fear of hurting themselves upon landing.
“It’s something new and different than our 3-D dodgeball, and one of our franchises had it, so we wanted to get it going,” said Skyzone General Manager Adriana Burgos. “The smaller kids will love it, probably more than they do dodgeball.”
This new attraction will be offered for $1 more upon admission at Skyzone, will be accessible to all customers, and will be very tightly monitored at all times to prevent injuries.  Only one person will be allowed to jump into the pit at a time.
“I’m really excited for this,” said junior Kyle Danuser. “I love Skyzone and this seems like something that I’ll definitely be sure to do.”
Skyzone built this foam pit in the space that the toddler jump zone used to be.  The hope is that toddlers can enjoy the same luxuries as before, but with something added, for both them and other customers.
“We’re planning to devote specific times for toddlers, where we change the rules a bit to adjust to them more,” said Burgos.
The process to build the new attraction did not take very long, as it was built by a single worker in 3-4 days.  The Skyzone corporation hopes it will soon become a big hit amongst all customers.
