Parkway South Holds District College Fair

On Sept 20 over 60 colleges and universities will be represented at theParkwaySchool Districtcollege fair atParkwaySouthHigh Schoolat 7 p.m.
“These [representatives] are experts about the college, and they know everything there is to know about each school,” said counselor Erin Schulte.
This is the time of year that seniors are working on filling out their application and may have questions.
“[At the fair] there are also people who read the application,” said Schulte. “So you can introduce yourself, and as you go through [your application], they can know a little bit about you as a person, rather than just your application.”
There are thousands of colleges a student can choose to go to, and every college is different. There is a lots for students to look for. The college fair is open to all students who would like a taste of many colleges in a short period of time.
“I think students should look for what fits them the best,” said Schulte. Some things to consider are location, size of town, size of school; but it is most important students pick a school where they learn the best.
“It’s never too early to start looking into where you want to go,” said Schulte.
