NHS Holds Carwash, Tutoring with New Sponsors

Even though the Parkway North National Honors Society, or NHS, has four new sponsors, Allison Ramsaroop, Jeff Gaw, Debbie Banshek-Twist, and  Scott Nilsen, it will continue to have its annual car wash and provide tutoring this year.  NHS will hold its annual car wash on Sept. 4 at the North Parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise money for the Red Cross.
“One of the most important reasons people should get their car washed at the NHS car wash on Sept. 4 is to support the Red Cross,” said senior NHS President Stephanie Zhang.
Zhang also added that the quality of the wash will exceed your expectations because of what NHS character stands for.
“People become members of NHS through hard work and dedication, which will be obvious in the service that we provide at the car wash,” added Zhang.
NHS will also help improve academic counseling by making tutoring more available to students by requiring members to complete at least one hour of tutoring per month.
“Ramsaroop has been working very hard in order to increase efficiency at which we help our fellow students,” said Zhang.
The NHS car wash is Sept. 4 and tutoring is available through NHS members on any subject needed.
